VC/PE: VC/PE institutions investing in Chinese mainland
Deals: Investment Deals, IPOs, M&A Deals
Companies: VC/PE-backed, IPO, or M&A-related domestic companies
People: Management Team of investment institutions and industry enterprises


2 ZDB data draws its sources mainly from the following channels:

2.1 Questionnaire surveys conducted on a regular basis with multiple crosschecks. We keep a close and effective communication with investment institutions active in China, send out formal questionnaires on a regular basis to ensure accuracy with first-hand information, and compare information from multiple sources two or three times for verification;

2.2 Internal corporate interviews;

2.3 Real-time telephone interviews;

2.4 Information disclosed by authoritative media. Our analysts also verify and follow up to confirm the data shortly after all media disclosures. 

A ZDB team consisting of nearly 30 professional researchers updates the data on a day-to-day basis to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and reliability of the database.
